The ACMP Intune Connector is designed to give administrators the ability to consolidate their existing Microsoft Intune instance into ACMP for a comprehensive system overview. Important actions can be carried out directly via the ACMP Console, simplifying the management of the company's client landscape.
Import data
With the help of our ACMP Intune Connector, the mobile devices are also used in the ACMP Console. After setup, the devices are automatically imported into the ACMP Core inventory and displayed with the most important device data. An asset can be created directly from this data or the devices can be controlled using one of the following functions. Due to the structure of the connector, the data is updated regularly.
Reset devices immediately if required
Mobile devices are lost or stolen most frequently. As annoying as the loss of hardware is, the loss of data is often much worse. To minimise the damage, the device can be wiped directly from the ACMP Console in the event of a loss report. The console forwards the Microsoft Intune command "Wipe" for execution accordingly. This deletes the user data and the device disappears from the administration. The device is lost, but in case of doubt it is unusable in the hands of criminals.
Keep device settings and guidelines up to date
The Sync Device action can be used directly from the ACMP Console so that the mobile device loads and uses new settings from the Intune instance.
Locking devices
If all devices are provided with a password or pin, the devices can be locked from the ACMP Console. Otherwise, only the screen switches off until the next activation.
Assign authorisations
At the user level, the authorisations in ACMP are assigned as to who can control which action of the ACMP Intune Connector.
Personal notifications
Users can be sent personalised push notifications to their mobile devices directly from ACMP. This allows users to be informed about necessary restarts or important organisational events.
Shut down Intune devices
By withdrawing (Retire) all settings and configuration profiles, the device is released from management at the next check-in. The user data is retained.
Do I buy Microsoft Intune from you?
No. You can obtain the ACMP Intune Connector from us, which is used to connect ACMP and your existing Microsoft Intune instance. If you have a volume contract with Microsoft, check it carefully, as many already include a Microsoft Intune licence.
Can anyone with access to the ACMP Console then control my mobile devices?
No. You can set the authorisation individually for the users and thus define exactly which administrator is allowed to do what.
Are other Aagon products required for the ACMP Intune Connector?
ACMP Intune Connector communicates via the Enterprise Service Bus (AESB) from Aagon. Therefore, additional services may be required for the installation of the AESB.
