ACMP Licence Management makes licence management in your company particularly easy. Where it is normally difficult to keep track of different manufacturers and licence models, ACMP Licence Management not only recognises different licence types, but also complex dependencies.

Automatic and user-definable reporting options ensure clarity when it comes to licence management and save time, while administrators benefit from the tool's ease of use.

Comprehensive licence management makes over- and under-licensing visible and can therefore reveal potential savings in licence procurement.

To ensure that licence management and the associated overview are comprehensive, the import of the Microsoft 365 licence portal is now also supported. All products, licences and contacts required for the complaint check are created.

Full features

Correctly calculate complex licence metrics

ACMP can map a wide variety of licence metrics. Not only can a distinction be made between virtual and physical consumers, but relevant hardware information can also be accessed (e.g. when licensing by CPUs and cores).

Upgrade and downgrade paths for software licences are clearly mapped and automatically calculated. Remote access for calculating RDS CALs can also be determined automatically.

Read out Microsoft 365 licence portal

By connecting one or more Microsoft 365 licence portals, the licence overview can be created from a single tool. Necessary contacts, licences and products are automatically created as required and taken into account in the complaince.

Utilising synergy effects

ACMP Licence Management uses data from ACMP Core, where the software on the clients is inventoried as a list. ACMP Licence Management uses this data to determine a detection pattern to determine the licence consumption.

Compliance Check

Under-licensing due to insufficiently licensed programmes comes to light during a software audit and can result in legal consequences and high fines. Over-licensing, on the other hand, leads to unnecessary costs due to surplus software licences. ACMP licence management detects both under-licensing and over-licensing, thereby optimising licence costs and enabling companies to benefit from a particularly fast RIO.

Reporting

Customisable, automatic reporting options provide a comprehensive overview - for example, of expiring contracts, over- and under-licensing or compliance check results.

Master data management and contract management

ACMP Licence Management can be used to record the master data for licence agreements. This includes, for example, supplier and contact data maintenance as well as the recording of cancellation or renewal periods.

Record licence consumption even more precisely

The optional ACMP Asset Management tool helps to determine the licence consumption of network devices such as printers and IP telephones.

Recognising the installation of risky software

The optional ACMP DNA extension enables the simple identification of non-legitimised software via a fingerprint database, even on decommissioned clients, thereby reducing the risks associated with compliance with the IT security concept and the associated (internal) guidelines for the software to be used.

FAQ

For example, is it possible to have a compliance overview sent to you as a regular report?

Yes, the ACMP Core query function can be used to select or create specific reports on ACMP licence management and send them at intervals by e-mail to a specific recipient (group).

Is there a fingerprint database?

Yes, this is ACMP DNA and the module is offered via a separate subscription.

How can I optimise my cost structure through licence management?
  • Minimise over-licensing and save costs for unnecessary licences, prevent under-licensing and avoid penalties during audits
  • Find and redistribute unused licences instead of buying additional ones
  • In addition, the ACMP Application Usage Tracking extension offers the option of carrying out an anonymised usage analysis of software, allowing unused licences to be saved.
Can I prevent software from being installed from the ACMP Kiosk if no licences are available?

Yes, ACMP can be configured accordingly. Before installation, the system checks whether there are still free licences for the desired software. If this is not the case, installation is rejected.

Which links to consumers can be established?

It is possible to link the licence user to a user, client and/or an ACMP asset (e.g. printer, IP telephone).
