With just two clicks, you can set a client in ACMP to "Retired". With this action, the selected clients disappear from ACMP, licence management and software distribution.
Using separate "Retired Clients" queries, you still have the option of accessing the most important key data for these clients and editing detailed information. For example, if a device has been put into storage, the storage location still needs to be entered. Editing only ends when the appliance is finally scrapped.
ACMP Retired Clients also offers you the option of attaching documents such as proof of scrapping or repair receipts for retired and decommissioned devices. At the same time, you have an overview of where the devices are and what their status is.
We have added an additional report in ACMP for "Retired Clients". This shows you the most important hardware data and the date of decommissioning. This allows you to quickly identify your retired client systems and reactivate them if necessary.
Once an ACMP client has been deactivated, the administrator can reactivate it with just a few mouse clicks. All that is required is to push a new ACMP agent with a new client ID. The client then reappears in all ACMP workspaces.
You can decommission all devices available in ACMP. In addition to normal Windows clients and servers, this also includes mobile devices as well as Macs and Linux PCs. Of course, this also applies to manually entered devices.
